Fast Facts about being a Girl Scout
All girls ages 5 to 17 are welcome to join Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts are divided into five different age groups. Each age group does fun and enriching activities and events that are just right for their age.
Three ways to be a Girl Scout
Even if there are no troops in your area, you can still enjoy all the fun of Girl Scouts. Juliette (individual) Girl Scouts often meet as a group once a month. If you can't meet once a week, join a group that meets once a month. It's easy and fun!
Adults Can Join Too!
Be a part of the organization that will be a part of your daughter's life! As an adult member, you'll have the chance to helping your daughter and other girls grow strong.
You'll receive the Girl Scout member newsletter, and if you ever want to become a troop leader or learn more about Girl Scouts, you'll be able to apply for free training to help you reach your goals.
Moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and any adult who cares about helping girls grow strong — all are welcome to join.
To find out more about what an important role parents can play in Girl Scouts, see the For Parents page.
