Our S.T.A.R.T. bank program allows adult volunteers to share their skills, talents, abilities, resources and time with Girl Scouts. Your time and effort is a valuable gift that will benefit girls and the Girl Scout program. You will work in coordination with our Girl Scout leaders and staff to support and supplement the existing Girl Scout Program. You may volunteer to teach girls or work exclusively with adults, depending on the task agreed upon.

Being listed in our S.T.A.R.T. bank database is a simple process that will only take a few minutes to complete, but will offer a timeless contribution to our girls. To get started, just click on the link below and complete the form. Feel free to select more then one skill area that you feel comfortable sharing with our girls. Your information will then be saved in our online database and be easily accessible from our website by any troop or anyone within our organization. You will be contacted directly by a Girl Scout, Girl Scout troop, or staff member interested in your skills and or abilities.

Short-term volunteers are not required to register with our organization, but your willingness to join Girl Scouts – Joshua Tee Council at the yearly cost of $10 per year would be greatly appreciated. As an adult member, you'll have the chance to help girls grow strong in your community. You'll receive the Girl Scout member newsletter, and if you wanted to become a troop leader or learn more about Girl Scouts, you'll be able to apply for free training to help you reach your goals.
