Now in our 15th year of service, Girls First provides a safe, stable environment where students discover new skills and develop tools that will allow them to achieve greater success in school and beyond. Every day we offer a full meal, creative studies, STEAM activities, and academic support alongside positive mentorship to help create lasting change for families in our region.

VOLUNTEER
Occasional Support or Mentor: Students and volunteers forge rich, intergenerational relationships, providing unique opportunities to learn from one another and forming new and rewarding connections.
Board or Committee Member: Do you have the time and talent to serve on our Board of Directors or one of our Committees, offering guidance in the areas of finance, human resources, strategy, public relations, fundraising and more? Join us! You do not need to be a Board Member to serve on a Committee.

Girls First is tuition-free, and no family is ever asked to pay for our program. But our no-cost approach is only possible because of the generosity of our donors. Their support provides full meals every afternoon, creative studies, STEAM activities, academic support, and most importantly, trusting relationships with caring adults.
