April 21, 2024

We are excited to let you know that this year’s Timeless Gems event has transformed into a virtual celebration. This change eliminates the need for people to leave the comfort of their own home. With no overhead or expenses, 100% of the funds you donate will go directly to providing elementary school girls with access to opportunities and resources they need to thrive; our unique trauma-informed programming that teaches social and emotional skills through the arts at no cost to families.

On Sunday, April 21st, all Timeless Gems participants will receive exclusive access to online entertainment, including original music by our Girls First students, community partnership recognitions, and so much more. Stay tuned for more information about this celebratory event!  Every individual that makes a gift will have their name entered into a raffle to win some exciting prizes.

RECOGNIZING & CELEBRATING:

The Maple Tree Community Champion Award Honoree: Rotation Records
The Maple Tree Award celebrates champions in the community who inspire, empower, and advocate for Girls First's students and their families. It is given to community partners whose support has helped our students to blossom in their ability to discover new skills and talents, build self-esteem, and just be Girls First.

Rotation Records was first formed in 2010 by Joe Staiber & Tom Jensen as a studio aimed at building a creative and accessible professional quality facility that was affordable for the everyday artist. Girls First students work with Rotation Records to write, perform and record their own music, and often find their voices along the way. Among other things, this partnership allows students to gain experience with professional artists, provides an exciting intersection with science and technology, and encourages girls to proudly share their own voices while simultaneously amplifying and lifting others up.
